Privacy policy

Reveal collects only what you choose to send, uses it to reply to you, and doesn't sell it. This page explains what that means in practice.

What information does Reveal collect?

Information you send. If you take the Foundation Check and choose to enter your email, I receive your email address, your answers and your score. If you request a chapter of Good Bones, I receive the name, title, company and email you enter. If you email or call, I receive what you share. The Foundation Check score appears on screen without an email.

Booking details. If you book a call through Calendly, Calendly collects the details you enter, such as your name, email and any notes. Calendly's own privacy policy governs what it does with them.

Site usage data. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It records things like pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and it uses cookies to do so.

How is it used?

I use what you send to reply to you, to prepare for a conversation you asked for, and to send the material you requested. I use analytics data to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site.

I don't sell your information. I don't add you to a marketing list without asking you first.

Who else handles it?

A few services help the site work, and each one may process the information you give it. Formspree delivers form submissions to my email. Calendly handles scheduling. Google Analytics measures site traffic. Google Fonts serves the typefaces, which means your browser requests them from Google. The site is hosted by GoDaddy.

I may also share information when the law requires it.

How long do I keep it, and can you ask me to delete it?

I keep correspondence and form submissions for as long as they're useful for the conversation or the working relationship, and I delete them on request. To ask me to delete anything you sent, or to see what I hold, email rob@revealcmo.com.

You can limit analytics cookies in your browser settings or with a browser extension that blocks them. The site works the same either way.

Is this site for children?

No. Reveal serves business owners and executives, and the site isn't directed at anyone under 18.
